Credit Laws Impact Credit Application Process

Both the Fair Credit Reporting and Equal Credit Opportunity Acts were passed to regulate the use of individual credit reports and credit information and prohibit discrimination. Both acts impact credit applications between buyers and suppliers. There is uncertainty about the meaning of some portions of the acts. If you have never attended CRF's Open Forums, you owe it to yourself to take the time and attend one.
