History

DAL, Inc., formerly DAL National Clearing House, was established in 1974 by Dominick A. Longhi. Prior to Dominick starting DAL, he was himself a Credit Manager, before being asked to run the Collections Department of the Philadelphia Chapter of NACM. The agency, born of his vision to meet and exceed the needs of the Credit Manager, propelled the company to grow ten-fold in the first year. Today, DAL is recognized as one of the nation’s Top 100 Commercial Collection Agencies. 

DAL is a founding member and Certified with the Commercial Collection Agencies of America, member of the Commercial Law League of America and member of the International Association of Commercial Collectors.

This is the way I addressed all of our correspondence when DAL was first started in 1974: For once you became a client; you became a friend of DAL too. The personalized service that DAL provided became the basis for our growth. Our client base grew from providing the ultimate in service and collection results to our clients, and the referral of DAL to their peers. We see this as being paid the highest compliment - a recommendation to use DAL.
